Jackie Herrick is currently PM 3 in the Invertebrate-Vertebrate Branch 1 (IVB1) of the Registration Division (RD) within OPP. She oversees many of the pyrethroids. Before becoming a PM, she for served five years as an entomologist and risk manager in RD/IVB3. During that time, she spent a year as the Pesticide Efficacy Review Committee (PERC) chair, did a 4-month detail in the Environmental and Fate Effects Division as a team leader and authored the updated test guideline for pests of premises (810.3500).

Prior to EPA, Jackie worked as a scientist at Handex Consulting and Remediation (Windsor, NJ) and as an Environmental Analyst at CSC (Alexandria, VA) assisting the Water Security Division within EPA’s Office of Water. Jackie holds a master’s degree in entomology from the University of Delaware, studying managed bumble bees, and a bachelor’s degree in computational biology from Lafayette College where she studied the developmental effects of atrazine on caddisflies and monarch butterflies.
