Julie Schlekau is the senior manager label and state affairs group at Valent U.S.A. LLC. She started in the industry working for McLaughlin Gormley King Company (MGK) for 14 years. She started with Valent in the Washington, D.C., office in 2008 and transitioned to the home office in California in 2014 to become manager of the label and state affairs group which includes the Quality Assurance Team. Julie is currently the vice chair of the RISE Regulatory Affairs Committee and is active in numerous Work Groups under CLA and RISE. She has been active in PRIA processes since the first version of PRIA, representing RISE.
