Rachel Lattimore is senior vice president and general counsel for CropLife America. As a key
member of the association’s strategic management team, Rachel provides corporate
governance support to the Board of Directors and serves as a spokesperson for the crop
protection industry.

Rachel joined CropLife America in 2013 from the law firm Arent Fox LLP, where she had been a partner since 2003. She is recognized as an expert in a variety of highly regulated business sectors such as pesticides, biotechnology, food safety and seed, and has direct experience in various litigation matters that span challenges such as federal regulation of ag biotechnology, pesticide data compensation and EPA enforcement actions.

She has authored numerous publications and presentations on issues as diverse as the Food Safety Modernization Act, expanding health and safety protection for infants and children and the precautionary principle and biotechnology.

A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in English from the University of North Carolina. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Victoria University at Wellington, New Zealand.
