Venus Eagle has been with the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) since 1991. Her first position in OPP was as a chemical review manager in the Special Review and Reregistration Division (SRRD). In this capacity, she led completion of several high-profile Reregistration Eligibility Decisions (RED’s) by successfully interacting with numerous external stakeholders, including representatives from grower groups, industry, state agencies and EPA regional personnel.

Venus moved to the Registration Division (RD) in 2007 and is currently product manager (PM) 01 in the Invertebrate-Vertebrate Branch 3 where she manages insecticides (e.g., neonicotinoids), rodenticides and structural fumigants. She is an expert at executing the requirements of PRIA, global joint reviews and labeling policy. She has previously chaired RD’s Product Manager Work Group and is actively involved in EPA’s change efforts related to the electronic Confidential Statement of Formula (eCSF) & electronic Labeling initiatives (OPPEL). Venus has Bachelor of Science in horticulture and a master’s degree in environmental policy.
