Desirée Hodges serves as the current biology project leader for BASF. Graduating from Virginia Western Community College with an associates degree in applied sciences, Hodges then attended the University of Virginia to earn her bachelor’s in biology. At the University of Virginia, Hodges served as a research associate until 2007 when she moved to the role of production grower of bedding annuals and ornamentals at Homewood Nursery. Since 2010, Hodges has worked with BASF, serving first as the research scientist for the testing of advanced characterization of global research insecticides.
