Karen Cain has been in the agricultural industry for over 40 years and has been involved in the regulatory side of the business for over 30 years. She is a senior regulatory manager with BASF, negotiating with various regulatory agencies on regulatory and technical issues impacting the industry while identifying and addressing new and emerging issues that threaten our license to operate. She has been active with CLA for many years, serving as chair of CLA’s Registration Committee in past years. She is originally from Missouri, growing up in a beef and dairy cattle farm family, but currently lives in North Carolina.
