Katie Stump is the manager of science policy at CropLife America, where she manages research projects, supports science and regulatory committees, and assists with public comments and EPA engagement. Originally from Maryland, her hometown is Havre de Grace, best known for being the start of the Chesapeake Bay and the duck decoy capital of the world. In her spare time, Katie loves reading, knitting, and board games. On nice days, she takes her cat Bolin on walks, and she will show you pictures if you ask her about it. She received her bachelor’s degree in applied economics and environmental science, along with a master’s degree in agricultural and applied economics, all from Virginia Tech.
