Michelle Sharpe is the MRL strategist for BASF North America, and she has been in her role for seven years. Part of her role is to foster better understanding of maximum residue limits (MRLs) and their potential impact on trade from U.S. and Canada. She comes to MRLs with enthusiasm for the science that supports regulatory processes around the world. Michelle has worked in regulatory and stewardship for 19 years, and serves on a handful of CropLife America committees and subcommittees.

She’s originally from Michigan, but after living half her life in North Carolina she’s at home living equidistant from mountains and the ocean. She has biked at least 50 miles in 14 states so far and plans to complete the whole set!
