Sandrine is a Senior Advisor for the Center for Environmental and Ecological Health of HESI (Health and Environmental Sciences Institute), where she has been working for seven years. She is keenly interested in all aspects of environmental health and chemical risk assessment. At HESI, she currently co-manages projects spanning a wide range of topics, from environmental epidemiology, to the risk assessment of complex mixtures, the transformation of the safety evaluation of agrochemicals, and new approaches in ecological risk assessment, all of which generally revolve around chemical risk assessment, for both ecological and human health.

Sandrine holds a Ph.D. in applied chemistry and a Master of Science in environmental sciences and engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. While studying in France, she also received a Master of Science in chemistry and a post-graduate degree in public health. In her free time, you will find Sandrine whitewater kayaking either for speed or for fun on some river in the U.S. or abroad.
