Dr. Steve Levine joined Monsanto in 2000 following EPA and NIH Fellowships in ecotoxicology and toxicology. Steve is currently a Bayer Distinguished Science Fellow with Bayer’s Global Scientific Affairs organization within the Crop Science Division. Before joining Bayer, Steve was head of Monsanto’s Global Environmental Toxicology and Risk Assessment platform. Steve currently chairs CLI’s ERA project team and CLI’s ED sub-group. Steve’s involvement with the EDSP includes an appointment to EPA’s Endocrine Disruptor Methods Validation Advisory Committee (EDMVAC) from 2004 -2206, serving as an OECD and NIH reviewer for endocrine assay validations, serving as a member of OECD’s Non-Animal Method Validation Group, and has served on the Board of the Endocrine Policy Forum. Steve enjoys going on long hikes with his wife and dog and in an avid road cyclist.
