Dana Vogel has served as the permanent Director of the Health Effects Division (HED) since August 2015. She joined the Agency in 1998, beginning her career in HED as an occupational and residential exposure and risk assessor. As a senior scientist, Dana contributed to numerous high-profile scientific reviews, including the N-Methyl Carbamate (NMC) and organophosphate (OP) cumulative risk assessments.

Dana has also held leadership roles as a Branch Chief and Deputy Division Director prior to becoming the Division Director. She brings extensive knowledge and expertise in the risk assessment process and is recognized across the Agency as an expert in human health risk assessment.

Dana holds a degree in Chemistry from Villanova University.
