Mark joined Syngenta in 2013 and is the Federal Regulatory Team Lead for Herbicides. Before his Team Lead position in Regulatory, Mark was a Sr. Stewardship Manager for Syngenta and handled water quality and water monitoring projects including the atrazine ecological monitoring program. Prior to joining Syngenta he was the Executive Director of the Environmental Resources Coalition (ERC), an NGO which worked on issues including atrazine watershed management, nutrient trading framework, state water quality standards and use attainability analysis, and national comprehensive nutrient management planning for livestock operations. Mark has also worked at the retail level where he managed a fertilizer and chemical location for MFA (an agricultural cooperative). Beyond his professional career, Mark also manages his diversified farm in northeast Missouri where he grows corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay.
