Paul Rea is senior vice president of agricultural solutions - North America for BASF. Paul was named to this role in 2014 and is responsible for oversight of production, R&D, sales, marketing and all other operations for BASF’s crop protection and seed business in the U.S. and Canada, as well as the turf & ornamental and pest management lines of business in North America.

Paul was born and raised on a farm in New Zealand and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney, Graduate School of Management.

Paul joined the company in 2001 as a national sales manager at BASF Australia, Ltd., in Sydney. He has also held positions as regional marketing manager, director of specialty products, vice president, U.S. crop protection and senior vice president crop protection Asia, based in Singapore.

Paul lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife and three children.
