Sam White arrived in Washington, D.C., in 1979 to work for Congressman Kent R. Hance (D-TX). During his five years with Rep. Hance, he served as legislative assistant and chief of staff. Mr. Hance was a member of the Ways and Means Committee, the Agriculture Committee and the Committee on Science and Technology.
From 1985 to 2002, Mr. White represented numerous clients with interests in agriculture, environmental, and appropriations issues. Just prior to joining the EOP Group in 2002, he served five years as vice president for governmental affairs, directing both federal and state legislative affairs, for the American Crop Protection Association, an industrial association consisting of all major agricultural chemical manufacturers in the U.S. Mr. White possesses expertise in agricultural, environmental, and appropriations issues.
