Molly O’Connor is the Director of Federal Government Relations & CLPAC Political Director at CropLife America (CLA) where she leads the international trade policy portfolio and the CropLife Political Action Committee. Prior to joining CLA, Molly worked in the agriculture government relations department of Olsson Frank Weeda Law (OFW Law), a DC-based law and lobbying firm, for seven years before departing as a Senior Policy Advisor. In that role, Molly managed a variety of client accounts in the agriculture and food industry, providing government relations and PAC strategy. Her client portfolio focused on international trade policy and food aid, biotechnology, food nutrition, pet food, forestry, dietary guidelines and the 2013 and 2018 farm bills, during this time she also served as the international trade policy staffer for the National Association of Wheat Growers. Prior to that, Molly was the Legislative Assistant for the National Corn Growers Association. The agricultural policy bug bit Molly when she first arrived in Washington, DC as an international trade policy intern with the National Pork Producers Council. Molly earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University and claims both Colorado and Illinois as her home states.
