Megan Striegel is the Grassroots Manager at RISE. In this newly created position, she works to develop and maintain a grassroots advocacy engagement program. She creates resources like webinars, newsletters, and how-to guides to prepare grassroots network members to communicate with decisionmakers and legislators. She also serves as the staff liaison to the Aquatics Committee and works regularly with RISE’s Director of State Affairs. She comes to RISE from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she was a Special Advisor in the Agriculture Advisors Office. In this position, she gained an understanding for the pesticide industry and EPA’s regulatory process. In her career, she has worked to build stakeholder engagement and has experience establishing new programs. She has a bachelor of science in agriculture and life sciences education from Iowa State University. Megan currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
