Britt Wood is an association executive who has over 26 years’ experience in association management. His current role has him proudly serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) where he oversees an association that represents over 1 million landscape, lawn care, irrigation and tree care professionals across the country. Wood has been in this role since 2019.
His other roles included serving as senior vice president of business development and industry relations for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, CEO of the Loss Prevention Foundation, and as vice president, industry programs and services for the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA). Wood also spent a large part of his early career with the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), where he rose to the position of SVP, Industry Relations.
Wood earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and his master’s degree in business administration from the College of William & Mary. He currently resides in Chantilly Virginia with his wife Lisa and their children Emmy (21, recent grad of St. Andrews UK, Brennan (19, studying at the University of Arizona) and Ainsleigh (15).
