Lenora supervises the pesticide registration team for the Washington State Department of Agriculture’s Registration Services Program. Registration Services is responsible for approximately 15,000 pesticide products registered for distribution in the state, including Section 3 pesticides, minimum risk pesticides, and adjuvants.
Prior to joining the Registration Services team in 2020, Lenora worked for Washington State University Extension. At WSU, she managed the Washington State Pesticide Resource Management Program, which housed the WSU Pesticide Information Center OnLine database (PICOL), pesticide publication reviews, and other pesticide-related risk management activities for the University.
She has over 25 years of experience in IPM, plant pest and disease diagnosis, pesticide safety education, and pesticide database content management.
