Nick Geitner is a physicist turned environmental scientist. He received his PhD in biophysics from Clemson University in 2014. He then worked in environmental engineering at Duke University, combining modeling with lab and mesocosm scale experiments to understand how nanomaterials behave in the environment. Now a predictive ecotoxicologist with Syngenta, Nick’s interests lie in enabling the pesticide development process though new capability development in toxicity prediction without relying on animal testing.
