Dr. Tharacad Ramanarayanan is a principal scientist in product safety at Syngenta. He is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. He has more than 20 years of research and development experience with the pesticide industry. He is an agricultural engineer by training. He has a wide range of expertise in environmental and human exposure and risk assessment. He is currently exploring exposure-driven New Approach Methods (NAMs) to refine, reduce, and replace vertebrate testing for human health assessments.
