Spencer Mortensen is a senior expert on the ecotoxicology team at BASF and has been in the agricultural products industry for over 25 years. In addition to his ecotoxicology responsibilities, Spencer leads BASF’s Endangered Species Team and is the current chair of CLA’s Biodiversity Committee. Spencer received a Bachelor of Science in zoology from BYU and a Ph.D. in environmental toxicology from Clemson University. In addition to work, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family, church service, golfing, birdwatching, and exploring new areas.
