Elyssa Arnold is the ecological regulatory risk assessor in USDA’s Office of Pest Management Policy (OPMP) where she works to represent the needs of growers in the pesticide regulatory process. She focuses primarily on Endangered Species Act compliance for pesticide registrations and serves on the FIFRA-ESA Interagency Working Group. Elyssa previously spent nine years in EPA’s Environmental Fate and Effects Division (EFED) within the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP). She also served as the Biosolids Program risk assessment lead in the EPA Office of Water. Elyssa earned her Master of Public Health and Master of Engineering Management from the Yale School of Public Health and the Yale School of the Environment, respectively, and she has a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies from Dartmouth College.
