This session is designed for EPA and government agency staff and others interested in learning more about the life cycle of a pesticide and interactions with the regulatory process. Topics will include the discovery process in the laboratory, data packages, and label development. It will also detail the parallel processes that occur at EPA before products can be used by end-users. We will hear from university extension scientists, growers, and federal and state registrant representatives about the roles they play in the process to ultimately bring important new pesticide tools to the field.
