Feeding a Fragile World;
Meeting the Challenges of Food Security, Climate Change and Sustainability through Innovation
Reception - 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Panel Discussion - 4:30pm
Against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine and the upcoming COP27 Climate Change Conference, the dual challenges of food security and climate change have never been more interlinked or more critical to our need to produce more nutritious food from fewer resources, and under less predictable growing conditions. Agricultural innovation and plant science technologies can help deliver climate solutions while improving productivity and food security.
This panel aims to show that working together across siloes frequently unlocks some of the best ideas and new solutions to the complex challenges facing agriculture.
Please join CropLife International, CropLife America, the Global Farmer Network, and the Governors’ Food & Farm Partnership for an expert panel discussion on how innovation in agriculture can help address these challenges, to be immediately followed by a reception.
Please share with colleagues who may also be in Des Moines for World Food Prize events. This invitation is transferrable, however there is a limit of 250 attendees.
