Jan Matuszko is the director of the Environmental Fate and Effects Division (EFED) within the Office of Pesticides (OPP) where she oversees the development of ecological, drinking water, and endangered species assessments to evaluate potential risks posed by conventional pesticides to support registration and re-registration decisions. Most recently, Jan has been instrumental in many of OPP’s ESA initiatives. Jan has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and a Master of Science in civil engineering (environmental) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
